Ingredients

 

  • 2 CRIPPS PIZZA BASES
  • 2 Bags of baby spinach, chopped
  • 2 Cloves of garlic, crushed
  • ¾ Cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Maple syrup
  • 8 Slices pumpkin, cut thinly
  • 170 grams Smoked cheddar, grated
  • 170 grams Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 Cup pizza sauce
  • 5 Rashes of streaky bacon, sliced into batons

Instructions

Prepare to be enchanted by this magical flavour combination. Picture a blanket of rich smoky cheddar with irresistible maple glazed pumpkin slices. Add in some streaky bacon if this is your vibe or leave off for a veggie option.

Method: 

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Massage the maple syrup all over the pumpkin slices.
  4. Bake in the oven until soft, approximately 15 minutes.
  5. Whilst the pumpkin is cooking, using a non-stick pan add the spinach and crushed garlic, cook until the spinach wilts, remove from heat and stir through the ricotta cheese.
  6. Change the heat on the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or onto a pizza setting.
  7. Spoon the pizza sauce all over the base of each pizza.
  8. Spoon over the spinach mixture, add the mozzarella slices, then pumpkin slices.
  9. Scatter over the smoked cheddar and bacon batons.
  10. Cook for 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden.
  11. Slice and serve hot.
