Ingredients

1/2 cup light cream cheese
1 tsp dried onion flakes, chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp chopped chives
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
2 tsp chopped dill
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

We’re all trying to do the right thing and eat ‘healthier,’ right? But reducing fat often means reducing flavour too. Not with this delicious ‘herbed sandwich spread.’ Made with light cream cheese and loaded with fresh herbs, it’s delicious enough to eat alone. Add it to a slice of Eliza’s Barley and Seeds bread with stacks of crunch from crispy greens and you’re headed to healthy flavour-town.

Method:

  1. Make sure that your dried onion flakes and herbs are finely chopped.
  2. Combine all of the ingredients together and mix well.
  3. Once combined, taste and adjust the salt and pepper accordingly.

This is best made a couple of hours in advance to allow the flavours to mingle.
