William’s Wraps
1 Tbsp oil
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
400 grams of ground beef
Tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 red capsicum
85 grams fetta
Handful of fresh parsley and mint


Transport yourself to the bustling streets of Turkey with this tantalizing dish – beef Gozleme made with wraps. You can cook the beef ahead of time to made preparation quicker and serve with a dollop of tangy yoghurt for a perfect mid-week dinner.

  1. Fry onion and garlic in oil over med heat until soft.
  2. Add beef and seasonings and cook through.
  3. Add capsicum and cook for another minute.
  4. Remove from heat and add feta and fresh herbs. Let cool before filling.
  5. Lay out wrap and put a portion of filling over half of the wrap, leaving some space around the edge.
  6. Fold in half and press down to seal.
  7. Heat some oil in a pan and add the folded Gozleme to the pan, pressing down gently. Cook for approximately 2 minutes per side.
  8. Cut in triangles and serve with natural yoghurt.
