Cripps are thrilled to support Archie’s 100 in their fundraising efforts this year, as a part of our Community Grants program. Today our CEO Paul had the pleasure of presenting Damien, Archie’s Dad, a cheque for $1500.
Archie’s 100 was born after the loss of Archie Green, at age 7, in a boating accident. Whilst incredibly tragic, Archie’s organs were used to save the lives of 5 others. Now, the Green family fundraise to raise awareness ~ encouraging others to consider organ donation, blood donation and to support emergency service workers. Funds raised go towards the NIC unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
On the 7th August, a fundraising day will be held at Cornelian Bay, where you can participate in 100 minutes of exercise to celebrate Archie’s 10th Birthday and raise money for this amazing cause.
