Bass Bakery History

Bass Bakery started its life as Marsden Bakery which was bought out by a Mr Rex Collins who at the time was running another bakery called Baker Boy. This occurred in 1967.

In 1971/72 Bramich Bakery Devonport, Irwins Bakery Devonport, Ulverstone Bakery, Penguin Bakery, Sheffield and Railton bakeries amalgamated to form Bass bakery

Don Bramich was the inaugural chairman of this company and after three years Rex Collins purchased the company from the remainder of the directors
