Cripps Fleet

Cripps fleet has come along way from the days of the horse and cart era. Our present fleet consists of modern Isuzu Trucks for the local deliveries and two Freightliner Argosy prime movers towing two Mez Deck trailers (Double Decker trailers) with a capacity to transport 14,000 loaves of bread in each one.

Over the years Cripps have evolved from the horse and cart era which we were still in use up to 1965 through periods where we had fleets of Morris J Vans , more commonly known as Noddy Vans, Datsun vans, Bedford vans, Ford Transit vans and few other models that we inherited through various bakery takeovers. These vans were ideal for home deliveries.

As the home deliveries disappeared Cripps moved into much larger vehicles to cater for supermarkets and larger corner stores.
